The secret to a balanced collection

Hi all,

Another Monday, another opportunity to learn from the best.

And today we quote Manolo Blahnik and his formula to draw a balanced collection.

“About half my designs are controlled fantasy, 15 percent are total madness and the rest are bread-and-butter designs.” – Manolo Blahnik

Knowing how to monitor your creativity and find the adequate balance between madness and more basic pieces is one of the ways to generate profits.

Thus, as assignment for this week, I suggest you go through your collection and measure the split between creativity and more moderate designs. Does your offer include enough fancy pieces? Have you included basic pieces? Is there a best-seller from last seasons that you can twist a little and add to the collection? Does the ensemble look cohesive?

Happy week!
